Harrison Shirk said that the deaf club was built using concrete block by Thomas Werner and few deaf people help to built the roof and inside and outhouse for bathroom at Sunnyside in 1945 until 1963
Lancaster Association for the Deaf moved to former pie/bakery store on Cherry St in 1963 .they paid for rent until 1970 . They purchased . They made major renovations and addition the bathroom, bar and kitchen.
In approx. 2016 we renovation the bar table moved to kitchen area to make more space
